The Shelburne Climate and Energy Committee engages with residents, businesses, and the town to build our community's long-term energy future and to reduce our town's contribution to the climate crisis, according to recommendations in the Town Plan.
Current projects include:
Developing a proposal to require renewable energy in new construction
Low-income housing weatherization
Rooftop solar on eligible town buildings
Membership and Meetings
The committee will have a minimum of five members, appointed by the Selectboard for terms of 2 or 3 years.
Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in Meeting Room 2.
