Champlain Water District
Champlain Water District (CWD) is a regional municipal organization supplying drinking water and fire protection to the following municipal water systems: South Burlington, Shelburne, Williston, Essex, Essex Junction, Village of Jericho, Winooski, Milton, Colchester Fire District #1 & #3, Colchester Town and Mallets Bay Water Company since 1973. A continuous supply of water is supplied by CWD.

Chittenden County Planning Advisory
The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) is now an organization resulting from the merger of the CCRPC and the Chittenden County Metropolitan Planning Commission (CCMPO). The organization is now responsible for the regional plan and addressing regional planning issues as well as transportation planning for the metropolitan Burlington area. Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6 pm at their offices.

The district’s mission is to provide efficient, economical, and environmentally sound management of solid waste generated by member towns and cities and their residents and businesses.
