Swimming Continues to be safe at Shelburne Beach!

Beach photo

The water is tested once a week for e-coli as recommended by the State of Vermont Health Department. The beach water is also monitored daily for signs of blue-green algae. While conditions can change quickly, we have not yet seen signs of blue green algae at Shelburne Beach.
If you think you see a possible bloom, please notify the Shelburne Beach staff or call the Police non-emergency line at 802-985-8051 to notify the Town Health Officer so it can be evaluated. If we do need to close the beach due to unsafe conditions, it will be posted on the website, on the Town Facebook page, on Front Porch Forum and signs at the beach.

We hope you get down to the beach to cool off and enjoy the water on this hot weekend!
