Friends and Volunteers

Volunteers at The Pierson Library work with the staff at the circulation desk and in the office, participating in many aspects of library work, such as book repair and mending, new book covering, and the upkeep of the card catalog. Not all volunteers are members of the Friends, but all support the Library in their own way. Click here for a form to apply to be a Pierson Library Volunteer. The Friends of the Pierson Library have a long history of raising money to support free access to all materials in all media, promoting literacy, helping to provide programs for all ages, and supporting current and future building enhancements. The Friends also organize the annual Book Sale. You can become a Friend or a member at any time. Call the Library at 802.985.5124 for their current meeting times.
