Parks & Trails Information Hard copies are available at the office, or call 985-9551 to have one mailed to you. Davis Park Located off Harbor Road across from Shelburne Community School. Facilities include lighted tennis courts, lighted basketball court and a playground. We are currently planning a playground renovation at Davis Park. The old playground must be taken down as it no longer meets current national safety codes and ADA regulations. A volunteer committee is working with the Parks and Recreation Department on the design and plan for a new playground, which we intend to make a NATURAL PLAYGROUND. This would offer a different and unique experience that kids can't get at other playgrounds nearby at the school or other places in Shelburne. It will also help give the neighborhood park an aesteically pleasing, landscaped area which will attract users of all ages. Laplatte Nature Park Located off Shelburne Falls Road adjacent to the Post Office. Trails are available for walking snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. A trail improvement project completed in 2012 has resulted in a continuous trail linking the north and south ends of the park from the Shelburne Supermarket to Falls Rd. by the bridge. A new Falls Overlook was constructed as a memorial project to Hudson Holland IV and is a serene spot to visit and view the Falls. Community Gardens is also located off La Platte Circle. Parking area is available off of La Platte Circle. Please remember that the Post Office parking lot is for Postal Patrons only. 125.6 Acres Now Available! Laplatte Trails Map! Shelburne Beach Park Located at the end of Beach Road. Facility is accessible to Shelburne Residents and guest by purchasing an annual beach sticker available through the Parks and Recreation Department. Facilities include swimming, boat launch, volleyball, tetherball, playground, picnic area with grills and bath house. 1.5 Acres.
Hullcrest Park Located on Pinehurst Drive in the Hullcrest Development. Facilities include playground, basketball court and seasonal ice skating rink. 4.1 Acres Shelburne Bay Park
Located off of Bay Road. One entrance accesses the Bike and Recreation Path open for walking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. The other accesses the boat ramp area managed by the Fish and Wildlife Department. 104 Acres. The Recreation Path also connects with the Ti-Haul Trail across Bay Road from the parking lot. The trail is just over a mile long and connects to Harbor Road, just west of the Shelburne Community School.
