With assistance from Jim Donovan of Wilbur Smith Associates, the Town of Shelburne evaluated the feasibility of constructing a pedestrian/bicycle facility linking the densely populated neighborhoods in the north end of Town to the village center, a distance of approximately 3.8 miles. The purpose of this project is to provide both local connections for bicyclists and pedestrians, and to provide regional access to the South Burlington path system and points to the north.

 

The town is currently refining its analysis of a portion of the Longmeadow-Webster Road Path to North Bank of the Laplatte River.  To learn more about the project, please contact the Shelburne Planning Office at 985.5118.
