Boards, Commissions and Committees Bike & Pedestrian Paths Committee:
The Paths Committee consists of Rob Donahue, Chair, Kate Lalley, Steve Gronlund, Steve Antinozzi, Fred Schmidt and Catherine Matosky, and Gabriela Meyer. They are responsible for the planning and implementation of a path system linking key destinations in Shelburne with surrounding communities. Chittenden County Metropolitan Planning Organization:
The Chittenden County Metropolitan Planning Organization (CCMPO) is responsible for transportation planning in the Burlington urbanized area. Shelburne's representative is: Jim Dudley and the alternate is George Schiavone. The Commission meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7 PM at the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission offices located at 30 Kimball Ave. Suite 206, South Burlington, VT 05403. Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission:
The Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) is responsible for creating the regional plan and serves as a forum for regional planning issues. Shelburne's members is: Ron Bouchard. Alternate is vacant. The CCRPC Board of Commissioners meets the 4th Monday of each month at 6 PM at their offices on 30 Kimball Avenue, Suite 206, So. Burlington, VT. Development Review Board (DRB) The Development Review Board consists of Reg Gignoux, Chair, Peter Gibbs, Vice Chair, Dick Elkins, Jim Washburn, Kay Kraushaar, Claude LaPierre and Mark Sammut.
Historic Preservation and Review Commission:
The members of the Historic Preservation and Review Committee are Fritz Horton, Chair, Bruce Beeken, Oda Hubbard, Tom Koerner, Dorothea Fraver Penar, and Barbara Hamblett.
Historic Sites Committee:
The Historic Sites Committe is comprised of Carroll Ockert, Chair, Stuart Morrow and Carol Casey.
Natural Resources and Conservation Committee:
The Natural Resources & Conservation Committee consists of Gail Albert, Chair, Sean McFadden, Bill White, Robert Ryder, Peg Rosenau, Rad Romeyn, Persis Worrall and Don Rendall. They review projects for their impact on Shelburne's natural resources. The committee initiates conservation land acquisition for the town. In addition, they organize educational events and tree sales. The committee meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7 PM in the Town Office Building. Pierson Library Trustees: The Pierson Library trustees are: Alice Winn, Chair, Nora von Stange, Leann Podruch, Lisa Perrault and Bob Dilts.
Planning Commission:
The Shelburne Planning Commission consists of Tucker Holland, Chair, Kay Kraushaar, CLaude Lapierre, Kate Lalley, Dick Elkins, Dennis Webster, Peter Gibbs and Gary von Stange. The Planning Commission approves subdivisions, site plans and boundary line adjustments and is responsible for revisions to the Subdivision and Zoning Regulations as well as the Town Plan. The commission meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM at the Town Center Office Building. Recreation Committee:
The Recreation Committee consists of Peggy Coutu, Chair, Pam Brangan, Marv Thomas, Joe Hameline, Ann Clark, Sue McLellan, and Renee Davitt. -They oversee the management of the town's parks, recreation programs and sports leagues. The committee meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Conference Room at the Town Office Building. Call the Parks & Recreation Director for more information at 985.9551.
Selectboard:
A five member elected Selectboard governs the town. The board sets policy through budgets, ordinances and tax rates among other regulatory duties. They meet regularly the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Town Office Building. The public is invited to attend these meetings. Shelburne Community School Board:
The Shelburne School Board meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6:30 PM. The meetings are usually held at the Shelburne Town Center third floor conference room.

Water Commission:
The Shelburne Water Commission is comprised of three members appointed by the Selectboard. Peter Gadue, Chair, Denis Barton and Frank Cole. The commission sets policy and the prices of public water delivery to Shelburne residents. The commission meets each month at the Town Office Building.
