“Forest Bathing” and “taking in the atmosphere of the forest” are both direct translations of Shinrin-Yoku. Shinrin-Yoku is the scientifically-backed Japanese tradition of nature immersion for wellness that began in 1982 and is just now catching on in the United States. Occurring throughout the different seasons of Vermont, this series will introduce you to this practice of nature mindfulness and will give you the techniques to develop a deeper and more meaningful relationship to the natural world.
Maximum 15 participants/walk.
